| DXD | Guitar screeching metal power chords, but with a funk style. Kelley (female vocals) is great. She's on my list of 2 female vocalists that can lead hard-ass shit (the other is in "Sick & Wrong"). If you close your eyes you can barely tell that Kelley is female, belting out growly lyrics. OK, bad side: I can't understand a word, but I think that's partially because sound guys might not know how to deal with her vocals. As one DXD shirt suggests, "If you like it hard, see DXD". - 7/99 |
